Celli winery which was founded in 1965 by the Sirri and Casadei families currently cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards. Since 1985, year in which the cellars of the winery have been entirely renovated the company has adopted its new philosophy: “The continuous pursuit of quality and typicality”.

Since 1995 the company has developed, bought and planted vineyards in Bertinoro. Celli produce 300,000 bottles per year. Their vineyards are planted with Sangiovese, Albana, Pagadebit, Trebbiano, Chardonnay, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Cagnina. At Vinexpo Tokyo Celli will, amongst other products of their range, show the “I Croppi Romagna DOCG Albana Secco” which has received the 3 bicchieri award from Italy’s famed wine guide Gambero Rosso.  Albana is a white grape variety, which is known for its overwhelming richness. Yet, according to Gambero Rosso, I Croppi shows a great amount of freshness and drinkability which makes it a pioneer for a new style of Albana in its appellation.
